Instrumentation: flute & vibraphone
Duration: 7’
Info/Program note:
Postscript was written off-the-cuff/simultaneously with Crash Codes. Similar to Crash Codes it uses the Seville Font to translate a hidden dedication, expressed as a dialogue between the flute and the vibraphone. The piece consists of three sections in a simple ABA form, stressing differences between capitalized readings of Seville and non-capitalized readings. It is one of the very few pieces I have written for no apparent practical reason, other perhaps then wanting to apply the Seville Code on its own.
